What is 7,8-dihydroxyflavone?
7,8-dihydroxyflavone also called 7,8-DHF. 7,8-dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) is a compound flavonoid that was firstly discovered a study for small molecules that could activate a particular receptor known as tropomyosin-related kinase B (TrkB), because the peptide produced in the human body that acts on this receptor, called brain derived nootropics factor , could not be used due to poor absorption into the brain. 7,8-DHF is both orally-bioavailable and able to penetrate the blood-brain-barrier,[7] though with a relatively short half-life.
How its works?
